Warren Trask Company is one of the top building materials wholesalers in the Northeast. Their operation encompasses over 30 acres in Lakeville, Mass., and a newly opened distribution center in Albany, New York. Both facilities offer a full range of product and the capacity to house millions of board feet of lumber in protected storage.
Warren Trask asked PMC to help them formalize and give a consistent look to all of the businesses’ assets, including sales collateral, leave-behind items, point of purchase displays and more. Then, we re-created their website and social media efforts to better target lumber dealers in the Northeast.
The focus was on consistency of branding and brand message. We wanted to ensure that whenever a potential customer experienced a Warren Trask message — whether on social media, through printed materials, the website, or a point of purchase display, that the imagery and key words were consistent to build brand recognition. The website development team leaned on Warren Trask’s industry partners and associates to provide powerful, eye-stopping imagery showcasing product use.
The emphasis on consistency has paid off handsomely. Year-to-year traffic comparisons from the website show a 122% increase, and customers have responded very favorably to the revitalized sales materials.
Before PMC helped this Rhode Island-based lumber distributor establish a social media presence, they were not participating in this segment. We chose to focus on their heritage and showcase their wide range of products with high-quality photography. We also created highlight posts for new products and services, and incorporated videos that targeted wholesalers and lumber dealers. Managing their accounts on Facebook and Houzz, we have grown their page likes from 168 to 379 in one year.
