The Client

Sid Wainer & Son has been a premier curator and distributor of the world’s finest specialty produce and specialty food for more than 100 years. They supply the finest restaurants, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, chefs, caterers, specialty shops, and retailers with world-class specialty produce and specialty foods.

The Objective

PMC was called on by this specialty foods distributor to redefine and reinvigorate the Sid Wainer brand through a website, digital marketing and the creation of new video assets. We wanted to achieve a bright, clean aesthetic with powerful photography and salient messaging that would differentiate Sid Wainer from the competition. Additionally, PMC was tasked with improving wholesale customer registrations via digital marketing.

THE Strategy

We started at the developmental level for the website, creating a customized database to simplify and support online wholesale orders. Photography and videography was used to energize users’ online experiences, while a strong SEO strategy targeting the New England and metropolitan New York was executed. Additionally, PMC structured a Google AdWords campaign and created unique landing pages for lead capture.

THE OUTCOME

The newly designed website now supports online ordering, as well as new customer registration. In less than 60 days of the SEO campaign’s launch, the website facilitated 46 new lead conversions/new customer registrations. All the photo and video assets are now live on SidWainer.com

Video Production

The goal of the Total Package video was to capture the essence of this producer of specialty foods by creating a narrative that focuses on every facet of their operation, building to a climax of the finished plate that their efforts produce. PMC helped reinforce the brand image of excellence in all departments and commitment to customer service — and told the story that Sid Wainer provides customers with the best quality products and service so that they can provide guests in their restaurants the same experience.
